Global Organics

Because products in the produce industry are colorful and bright, the Global Organic Specialty Source, Inc. website has incorporate some of those colors in the website. The interface is intuitive and easy to use and content on the Home page should describe to interested parties what separates Global Organic Specialty Source, Inc. from the competition.

In order to drive visitors back to the website a ‘Specials’ area was integrated into the Home page. Global Organic Specialty Source, Inc. has the ability to change the text within the Specials template and can update this area without intervention from Webtivity Designs. When visitors click on the Specials area a new browser launch's to display the information and give users the ability to print the Specials.

A dynamic What’s New page was also developed, giving Global Organic Specialty Source, Inc. the ability to post recipes and other important industry/company news. This area of the website can be updated without intervention from Webtivity Designs through the use of a Microsoft-Word-like text editor, giving Global Organic Specialty Source, Inc. the ability to upload images along with text.

Global Organic Specialty Source, Inc. also has the ability to upload three pricing lists in the Customer Login area and assign roles for customers. When customers are added to the database by Global Organic Specialty Source, Inc. they are assigned a “role”, which designates which price list they see when they log into the system.
