Setting up an E-mail Account in
Mozilla Thunderbird

1. First open Mozilla Thunderbird
   
   
2. If this is the first time Mozilla Thunderbird has been run on this computer then you will see a screen like this:
   
   
   Note: If you already have your current email account setup on a diffrent email client and would like for Thunderbird to pull all configuration information from your existing email accounts then select that email client here. Then click next and your done setting up Mozilla Thundbird. If you have no previously setup email client then select Don't import anything and click Next.
   
   
3. Here in the Account Settings window click on the Add Account button.
   
   
   
   
4. Now that the Account Wizard is open we can start configuring Mozilla Thunderbird.
   Make sure Email Account is selected then click next.
   
   
   
   
5. In this window you can put your name in the Your Name box and this is what people will see when they recieve an email from you. Also input your email address in the Email Address box then click Next.
   
   
   
   
6. After that you be in the Server Information window. Here you need to select IMAP. To do this click on the bubble next to IMAP.
   
   
7.  Also you will need to input the Incoming Server: mail.isu.edu
   And the Outgoing Severs: smtp.isu.edu
   After inputing the Incoming and Outgoing server click Next
   
   
   
   
8. This next screen should have your user name allready in the box. If it is correct the click next, If your username is different then what is shown then put in the correct user name and click next.
   
   
9. Now enter the name you would like to refer to this account as and click next.
   
   Note: The name that is allready in the box is recomended.
   
   
10. Reveiw the inforation provided on this next screen to ensure everything is correct and then click finish.

Thunderbird is now ready for you to use.
